EXPERIENCES

ANTREC is an association that identifies, develops and promotes Romanian hospitality and rural tourism. The Association was founded in 1994 and has more than 3500 members from 32 county branches – owners of tourist and agrotourist pensions from 1000 localities and craftsmen from all over the country. Member of the European Rural Tourism Federation since 1994 – EUROGITES, ANTREC is recognized nationally and internationally as a leader in the development of Romanian rural tourism, in encouraging ecological preservation and preserving the traditional Romanian culture. ANTREC TULCEA is a non-governmental, apolitical and non-profit organization, and has begun practically since February 2002 to carry out activities to achieve its objectives. The aim of the Association is to continuously develop and improve ecological and cultural rural tourism. Its objectives are: Creating a favorable environment for tourism development Identifying and creating new hostels Improving the existing tourism product; Increasing the number of tourists targeting the county through the network of hostels; Promotion on the international and international market of the specific tourism product. The activities carried out since 2002 until now are: Providing specialized consultancy for starting, conducting and conducting tourism; Providing legal, economic and tax advice for the establishment of new boarding houses; Creating and continuously updating a database regarding the tourist offer in the Danube Delta as well as regarding the national and international tourism environment; Sustaining the interests of its members in front of public authorities; A promotional campaign consisting of editing two tourist guides; Present with stand at the editions of the national tourism fairs; Presence on the Internet and in local and central media; Creating a network of 62 homologated or homologated hostels in 17 localities in the county; Creating a consultancy and information center in collaboration with the Administration of the Danube Delta Reserve; Attracting over 130,000 Romanian and foreign tourists who targeted the Danube Delta through the ANTREC boarding network; Carrying out training courses in tourism activity financed by the Ministry of Tourism.

Title of the project where ANTREC TULCEA is currently partner: “Sustainable development of human resources for rural tourism in Romania”, implemented by the Business Development Association, with ESF financial support, according to the financing contract no. POSDRU / 83 / 5.2 / S / 54620, Project Objective: The overall objective of the project is to develop human resources in rural areas in view of access to and sustainable development in employment, in non-agricultural activities, on a flexible and inclusive labor market Implemented over a period of 36 months in the South-West, South-Muntenia and South-East regions by the Business Development Association (ADA) in collaboration with 9 national and transnational partners: A.N.T.R.E.C. Romania and its regional structures A.N.T.R.E.C. Mehedinţi and A.N.T.R.E.C. Tulcea, SC Managing Tourism Training (FMT) SRL, SC Cardinal Jobs SRL, SC Euro Link-Consultants SRL, SC RGIC Consultancy SRL, National Organization of Greek Tourism (GNTO) and Athens Network of Collaborating Experts (ANCE)
