D.T4.1.2 Certification SILCNET label logo for quality of tourism services in the field of cultural tourism along the Silk Road, has been developed by the team of UE-Varna for organization, management and implementation of the SILC project
In the framework of the international project SILC “Local culture on the Silk Road” / “SILC Road local culture”, University of Economics – Varna as a leading partner for work package 4. “SILCNET Label guide development” developed, presented and approved together with all partners of the project consortium, the logo of the SILCNET label, its strategy, plan and tools for promotion.
The SILCNECT Entrepreneurship Label is a certification system for entrepreneurs who offer tourism products on the Silk Road. The aim is to create a common instrument for stimulating local economies and creating synergies between the countries of the Black Sea basin.
All SILCNET Label logo concepts were exclusively conceptual with references to Chinese symbols for the interpretation of the future, stylized graphics of north and south geographical directions, five roads and five flags, which identify the all partners in the project and are united by the flag of the EU.
The choice was made in favour of the concept, which has the most complete visual synchrony with the SILC project logo and clearly corresponds to the general idea of visualizing the SILC project concept.
A strategy, plan and tools for promoting the SILCNET mark have also been developed for the introduction of the certification mark. Work is currently underway on the development of training materials for acquiring the quality mark of the services offered, and a pilot training sessions are forthcoming.
Entrepreneurship training activities for the acquisition of SILCNECT Label will help create ideas for innovation, cooperation and trade connectivity among businesses in the field of tourism.
